What the Chavistas wanted was for their corrupt electoral council (CNE) to continue on as lapdogs to Chavismo; and for the opposition to recognize the ANC, a Chavista created legislative body (to replace the National Assembly) that creates bullshit out of thin air.
The opposition said "no deal". Recognize the legitimately elected AN, and the CNE must be non-partisan and fair. So I guess that means that Delcy might start smacking people on the head with her Gucci handbags.
