Representatives of the Spanish delegation of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) denounced that in Venezuela the deputies of the National Assembly (AN) are not guaranteed human rights. They also rejected the government does not allow the creation of a humanitarian corridor.

"Venezuela has gone from being the most exemplary democracy in Latin America to becoming a failed state," said the representative of the Spanish delegation to the IPU.

He stressed that Venezuela is facing a difficult moment and that it can not be abandoned now. He also noted that they are proud of the work of the political parties in the country.

"We have the obligation to continue taking legal measures to help Venezuelans," he concluded.
