Rector of Venezuela election body won't allow "new" president until next year.

Sandra Oblitas: President who will be elected will take office in January 2019

Sandra Oblitas, vice president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), reported that the president-elect in the upcoming elections of May 20, would be sworn in in 2019.

The representative of the CNE also described as "unacceptable attacks" the calls of the Lima Group to ignore the results of the presidential elections on May 20.

She argued that no country has the authority to question the upcoming elections , convened in compliance with the provisions of the Constitution .

"They are unacceptable aggressions but they are also positions that have nothing to do with the reality and the Venezuelan electoral work and the Venezuelan electoral politics. In Venezuela there is a people, some institutions, a full exercise of what is their sovereignty and their self-determination," Oblitas emphasized.

High theater!

The outcome is already known. Maduro wins big over all his combined adversaries. What is unknown is how fraudulent the numbers will be. Maduro insists he will get 10 million votes from a populace that went from the richest nation in Latin America to its poorest in 18 years. 90-95% poverty level. 65% in extreme poverty. 18,000% inflation. 99.99% devaluation of the Bolivar in one year. No fuel. No electricity. No food. No clean water. No drugs/immunizations. Empty schools. Decrepit hospitals. Debt holders seizing assets. But... Maduro says, El Pueblo loves me!"
