Venezuela election: Fourteen ambassadors recalled after Maduro win

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-44204632

Fourteen countries including Argentina, Brazil and Canada have recalled their ambassadors from Caracas in protest.

The US has imposed new economic sanctions after Sunday's election.

Venezuela is suffering from food shortages stemming from its economic crisis and voter turnout was low.

US President Donald Trump called for new elections to "end the repression" of Venezuelans.

However Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Mr Maduro on his re-election on Monday, wishing him "success in resolving the social and economic issues facing the country" in a statement.

You do the same thing over and over again, until it works.

Because he thinks that filling the AN with Chavistas will buy him time (and legitimacy).

It won't.

He has the TSJ (Supreme Court) packed illegally with Chavistas

The CNE is packed illegally with Chavistas

He has unilaterally formed a new entity (ANC) to take the place of the AN and to "rewrite" the Constitution (ironically, the Constitution that Chavez was so proud of!) that is packed with Chavistas

Maduro and his TSJ/CNE/ANC do not recognize the current AN (which has a super-majority)

And yet, he blames the AN (who hasn't been able to pass a single law in 3 years) for the countries economic whoas? 18 years of complete control by Chavismo has led to a devaluation of the Bolivar to the tune of 125,000,000%... and he blames Capriles and Lopez, who are now forbidden to hold an elected office more sinister than dog catcher?

No food (sabotage!). No medicine (sabotage!). Brain drain (teachers, engineers, nurses and doctors fleeing). Oil being pumped at 1949 levels (sabotage!). No gasoline (it is imported, because the PdVSA refineries are all defunct except one.) Nothing is being manufactured by the businesses that Maduro has confiscated for "El Pueblo" (sabotage!). No water (sabotage!). No electricity (sabotage!).

Always someone to blame.
