Maduro starts confiscating homes in Venezuela, giving them to supporters

They denounce start of the "plan locate your house" in the west of Barquisimeto

May 27, 2018

Although there is no official information on the matter the leak of a text in social networks has served so that national councils at the national level devise a plan to occupy houses or apartments that have emigrated to other countries because of the crisis that lives the country.

No agency or ministry has reported on a new plan that allegedly promoted by the government: Plan "Locate your home." Supposedly this new pearl of the government of Nicolás Maduro is giving green light to communal councils to "hunt" empty houses or apartments to take them and deliver them to other people.

Well, in Barquisimeto this practice is about to start. The communal council of the urbanization Las Americas is paying attention to the message that was transmitted through the WhatsApp message and threatens to take the houses that are of people who emigrated or not.

If you go on a vacation, Fred, can we assume that you have abandoned your domicile? Let Trump give it to a Trump voter, perhaps?

5. If An American emigrates to France, They don't stop owning their house in the US

It’s still their property, and they can return to it whenever they are in the US and spend time there.

Emigrating doesn’t give up your real property.

If you think it does YOU need to prove THAT.

Take American expropriation laws, federal and state, are rather draconian....in example the confiscation for The Wall, or pipelines.

Simple conclusions based on political agendas and scarce facts are not my cuppa.

They ask the Government to clarify if plan "locate your house" is official
May 30, 2018

...In the statement published on Tuesday night in his Twitter account, the Real Estate Chamber explained the need to clarify the scope and origin of these speculations arising from "information and messages on social networks that show concern and anxiety for visitors that they could be carrying out, in privately owned residential complexes, unidentified people supposedly linked to communal councils, in order to census unoccupied homes. "

Carlos Alberto González Contreras, president of the Real Estate Chamber of Venezuela, said, although up to now everything has been about rumors, the lack of an official pronouncement could result in criminal actions protected by the alleged need for housing.

"There is no certainty of the identity of the people or organizations that are allegedly carrying out this illegal activity, which has been given the name of 'locate your house' plan. These rumors can lead to criminal action by immoral subjects who take advantage of the precarious situation of many fellow citizens. Therefore, it is necessary that the government pronounce itself in this respect," he insisted...

If it isn't official now, it soon will be. Nothing makes Maduro happier than his fellow travelers getting something for nothing. 2 months ago, it was campesino's squatting on private property. They were evicted (and jailed), but they HOWLED to Maduro, who not only made it illegal to remove these squatters from private property (but not State owned property), but he then "gifted" them the property... not State land, but private land!

Ah, the benevolence of Karl Marx!

Look for people who are NOT PSUV voters to go to work in the morning, and find the Red Shirts now occupying their "abandoned" domicile when they return in the evening. Because that is how Chavismo rolls!
