A student originally from Brazil was killed Monday night in Nicaragua, shot dead by "a group of paramilitaries" south of Managua, said the rector of the American University (UAM), Ernesto Medina.

The Brazilian Rayneia Gabrielle Lima , sixth-year student of the medical career at the UAM, died on Monday night for a " bullet in the chest that damaged her heart, the diaphragm and part of the liver ," the rector said. 12 local television channel.

The murder occurs in the midst of a sociopolitical crisis for demonstrations against President Daniel Ortega, whose violent repression has left between 277 and 351 dead , according to local and international humanitarian organizations.

"This has to be said, paramilitaries who were in the house of Chico (Francisco) López, were the ones who shot, " said Medina.

López, treasurer of the ruling Sandinista National Liberation Front (FSLN) and until recently the manager of two large state-owned companies related to oil and the construction sector, was affected by the Magnitsky Global Law of the United States, which pointed him out of serious violations of human rights.

Lima lived in the same district as López , an exclusive zone in the south of the Nicaraguan capital.

"The paramilitary forces feel they have carte blanche, nobody is going to say anything, nobody is going to do anything to them, they are kidnapping and doing raids," the rector said.

It is illegal to own a firearm in Nicaragua, yet the only people who aren't supposed to have them (but do) are various "peoples brigades" loyal to Ortega.

Then you think her death was faked?

That the people without guns shot her?

She fatally shot herself, then hid the gun while dying?

Or, that this woman never existed and is "fake news" brought about by the MI complex?

Ever been to Nicaragua, Fred?
