Landing of US Military Planes in the Amazon Intrigues Residents

Landing of US Military Planes in the Amazon Intrigues Residents

Brasilia, Jul 30 (Prensa Latina) The landing of two US military planes at the Manaus airport in the same week has intrigued local residents, the digital newspaper Brasil 247 reported.

Among the theories by those who saw the planes is that they were bringing weapons and troops to train in the Amazon, from where they would launch an alleged invasion of Venezuela, the publication noted.

The website recalled that a year ago, US President Donald Trump said that he had consulted his advisors about the possibility of invading the Bolivarian nation.

According to the source, the Brazilian Enterprise of Airport Infrastructure, Infraero, told the website Em Tempo, in the Amazon, that the two planes from the US Air Force (USAF), a C130 and a C17, landed on July 13 and 14, respectively.

It's all mountain and jungle with no roads....and Manaus is almost 500 miles from the Venz. border.
The US would just land on the coast.
