Government inspected arrival of the Christmas perniles in La Guaira

Nov. 8, 2018 - The Minister of Popular Power for Food, Luis Medina, inspected Tuesday the arrival of the Christmas perniles from the seaport of La Guaira, in the state of Vargas.

This was reported through his Twitter account, (@LuisMedinaRa), where he pointed out that the legs will complement the national production, in order to guarantee the traditions of the people in the holiday season ".

Medina accompanied the tweet with an audiovisual material in which President Nicolás Maduro assured that the Bolivarian legs will be distributed through the Local Supply and Production Committee (CLAP).

There is no "national production". Venezuela produces nothing anymore. Every formerly productive farm, ranch or business has been nationalized (for the glory of la Patria, Bolivar y Chavez!) and ruined. Some of the most productive land in the world lies barren for lack of equipment, spare parts, seed and fertilizer. Dairy cows, sows and egg-laying chickens slaughtered with no thought of what would happen after that short term solution ran its course.

So now, Chavismo makes a great show of how it is going to disperse to the Chavista faithful free food. Such benevolence! Naturally, to get such largesse you must possess the Carnet de la Patria (Chavista loyalty card) and your neighbors must testify that you are a good Chavist who shows up faithfully to the weekly Red Shirt rallies.

What a shame that they have to wait once a year to get protein.
