Juarez reacts to President Trump's El Paso rally with condemnation, indifference

JUAREZ, Mexico — "Berlin Wall" is written on a large mural on the concrete banks on the Mexican side of the Rio Grande between downtown El Paso and Juárez.

The mural is visible from the Paso Del Norte international bridge in Downtown connecting Juárez and El Paso.

President Donald Trump's rhetoric about undocumented immigrants is dehumanizing and his proposed border wall is a waste, Juárez residents said.

But Trump's visit for an El Paso rally on Monday was also met with a measure of indifference by residents of the Mexican border city.
