Chavismo spokesman says its time to double down on the stupid

Arreaza: It's time to radicalize the revolution
Message by redaccion » 17 Feb 2019, 19:11

ND / Feb 17 2019.- Jorge Arreaza thanked the US government and the opposition in an ironic way for having created the conditions (with the current crisis) to "cleanse" the revolution from traitors.

This is what he said on the program La Voz de Chávez , with Adán Chávez, on VTV.

"Bolivar was the first to be planted (to the United States) and told the truths. That is why Francisco Pividal, the Cuban intellectual and writer, says that the Liberator was the precursor of anti-imperialism in Latin America. And what did Chávez do if he did not resume ... the anti-imperialist banners? When we arrived at political power with Chávez, there anti-imperialism became State policy"

And he continued: "Then it is time, this anti-imperialist conjuncture, to radicalize the revolution, and we thank the United States, its government, the Venezuelan opposition that gave us another chance to decant, to clean up, so that the traitors leave , pronounce yourselves, go out and finally sing, because here the people on the right, when they are unveiled and captured, you have to give them a stick to be quiet, because they say everything, they tell everything, they reveal everything. In order for the revolution to continue to be cleaned up, it will continue to deepen and continue to be radicalized according to the Bolivarian and Chavista socialism of the 21st century."

Cleanse the revolution of traitors? What does he mean by that?

Clearly, the previous mass expropriations and nationalizations aren't enough. There are probably a few profitable businesses left to bankrupt. Why not give the workers the very thing that Marx said they needed, "the Means of Production" to finally give the Venezuelan economy that push over the cliff it needs? After all, the GM/Clorox/Kimberly Clark/Bridgestone/Smurfit Kappa/Kelloggs etc. etc. were just "anomalies". Those now closed factories just need better leadership... as did all those closed factories in heavy industry in Guayana. (Alcasa, Venalum, Orinoco Iron, etc)
