Doctors,Teachers to Stage again Peaceful Rallies in Honduras

Tegucigalpa, Jun 10 (Prensa Latina) The Platform for the Defense Health and Education has called doctors and teachers on Monday to continue carrying out peaceful rallies in Honduras, and called upon the government to sit down and talk.

Through a video posted on Sunday night in social media, the movement set a deadline until 12:00 local time so the Executive led by President Juan Orlando Hernandez can respond to the nine-item agenda that he was presented to the effects of shaping the dialogue.

. . .

Through his official Twitter account, former President Manuel Zelaya confirmed the unconditional support of his party, Libre, to the platform of social movements against the privatization of health and education.

He also convened the militancy of that leftist force and its bases to actively participate in the peaceful actions throughout Honduras.
