Toothpaste tops

Have been using Colgate since the apostles were teenagers and feel very let down by the stupid stand-up tops that they put on all the tubes now....like we have to have them stand up like p.., oh, never mind, like knic-knacs.

The tops are so wide that they get jammed with toothpaste and are hard to close.

This is by far not my biggest problem, but is annoying, because the small caps that were attached were the best thing since sliced bread.

Equally frustrating, and expensive as well, are the expensive tiny gourmet spices that come in jars so small that you can't fit a measuring spoon in. Only Krogers as far as I know still sells the metal cans that are ideal for using measuring spoons or pouring, both under the Kroger brand and McCormick.

If anyone knows a brand of toothpaste that still comes in a tube that has a tiny cap attached with a sliver of plastic, let me know. I am just tired of trying to stand that stupid thing upright on that lid, and after some is used, it's unpleasant to look at as well.

Hopefully somebody from Colgate is a Democrat and will take this post to work and restore the cap that an idiot did away with....
