Did Facebook Inc receive any of the money from the IPO?

I am not versed at economics. I recognize that a company can raise money by selling stock. But was any of the stock sold at the IPO new stock or stock that was already owned by individuals. If a company gives it's executives stock, then when that stock is sold, none of the money goes to the company.

How was the share price determined for the IPO?
