LAS VEGAS (AP) — The Latest on the Democratic campaign for president (all times local):

6 p.m.

Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren says Democrats have not paid enough attention to organized labor.

The U.S. senator from Massachusetts was among 2020 hopefuls attending a union forum Saturday in Las Vegas. In response to a question, she said she agrees that the GOP has focused more on tearing down unions than Democrats have on building them up.

Warren says Democrats and unions “have not done enough to protect each other.”

She proposed implementing a method of streamlining union elections called card check. She also called for more pro-labor voices on the National Labor Relations Board and in the Labor Department to ensure businesses treat unions fairly.

Warren detailed her plan to tax the wealthy and fund universal child care and student debt forgiveness as well as require 40% of corporate boards’ members to be representatives of employees.

I have 4 choices in mind and she is on my list.

Frankly it's a shame how few of our candidates have gone after Trump.

very telling. We would see what BS is really made of and what his agenda is and who he works for. But I'm not willing to risk the future on fact checking BS. Warren/Harris would be an incredible ticket. I thought that Hillary's greatest mistake was not choosing Warren as her running mate. We would be in a different place today. But, it is what it is.

Don't get me wrong, I love Bernie and would be thrilled to vote for him in the general election. But I think Warren has it a bit more together this round, PLUS she's nearly a decade younger than Bernie, AND as the Presidential nominee, she could take one of the younger candidates under her wing for tutelage. I'm thinking that Buttigieg might be the perfect fit: young enough to balance Warren's age and experience, smart enough to keep up with her brilliance, military service on his resume, male (not really a qualification in the slightest, but might be important for some voters...) to balance a female-led ticket, and has a following of his own.

The question is, is Mayor Pete willing to pull his politics a bit more leftward to match Warren's? I hope so: they could do so much worthwhile as a team.
