Funeral: Ms. Hattie Canty, former Culinary president (1990-2002)

It is with great sorrow that we inform you of the passing of Ms. Hattie Canty, former President (1990-2002) of the Culinary Workers Union, Local 226. She passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2012.
Sister Canty was truly an example of the very finest of the labor movement. With admirable courage she faced monumental challenges. She will be greatly missed by many.
The Funeral Service for Ms. Canty was held Monday, July 16, 2012 at 11:00 am at Living Word Ministry (976 Hassel Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89106).
Shortly after interment, folks were invited to return to Living Word Ministry for refreshments at the church cafeteria.
