Tell Your Senator to Vote No on John King for Sec of Ed

A little late in the game but better late, etc.....

King was a "reform" era flop as NYS ED director and a dutiful promoter of all things corporate where public ed is concerned. A "metaphysically perfect" successor to Arne Duncan, in other words.

Tell your senator "NO. WAY."

>>>Tomorrow, March 14, the full Senate will vote on the appointment of John King as Secretary of Education. John B. King's strong support for Race to the Top reforms was a costly experiment riddled with problems when he led New York. King is an unapologetic proponent of the Common Core, evaluating teachers by student test scores, student data collection, and Common Core testing. He will only bring more of the same to the nation.

Send your letter tonight or early tomorrow. Share the link on Facebook and Twitter. Time is short. Join the Network for Public Education in its opposition to the appointment of John King. >>>>
