Oklahoma cuts Higher Ed another 16 percent.

We like it here, but if you are looking for a job in higher ed I would think long and hard before coming here to Oklahoma right now. We are under fire by the anti intellectual crowd. The Legislature, which is nuts, want control of tuition rates again so they are making our lives miserable. These cuts will be people this time.

“Everybody talks about this $1.3 billion deficit. If we take care of morality, God will take care of the economy.”

This is where the problem lies, not only for Oklahoma but for any state, too many Republicans are wasting time and money on taking care of "morality" that is nothing more then trying to control people's lives.

And you know who you can blame, the Westboro Baptist church types, the ones that love wearing the label of "Christian" without actually living up to the name!!!
