Sorry if this is old news, I just heard about it. Louisiana is privatizing its entire school system. Completely insane.

1. That is just the beginning. Corporations wanted this system all along.

2. yep - way too much money involved to ignore

and can easily be done on-the-cheap. Hire only inexperienced teachers. Cram as many students into a classroom as physically possible. Barebone schools.

4. If that happened when my kids were young,

I would just plain Home School them instead, rather than have some corporation, or religious organization, make profits off citizen's tax money.

6. At some point I doubt you'll be allowed to unless you buy corporate materials and take the

 

corporate tests and pay a fee to the corporations for the privilege.
