I don't think this has been posted here yet. It's a walk through of a flow chart that shows who is behind the Common Core, and who is profiting from it:

Surprising how absolutely embedded ALEC's fingers are in this pot. The video also shows where Rupert Murdoch, the Walton Corp, Jeb Bush, among others, fit into the plan. Take particular note of "In Bloom" and that band of merry men.

Definitely worth looking into to know exactly who is ruining teachers' lives and how they profit from doing so.

Opting out of state standardized tests. Many of the people there think cc is "liberal". After multiple attempts to correct this erroneous idea, I've dropped it and instead leave party lines out and talk corporate instead. All agree with that part.

funding is dependent on how many kids take the test. So if the kids opt out, they may lose their music teachers or extra curriculars, or reading specialists or whatever.

They screw you either way.
