Lee County made major waves last week when it opted-out of all state testing. Unfortunately (for students and educators) they have rescinded their vote in a pretty cowardly move (IMO). Still hope for some at least partial opting out though; one of the board members is bring it back up at their next meeting (a week from today, 9/9/14).
