The duality of average people not really caring or undetstanding and the power of corporatists to block any real reform will ultimately doom us all

A pessimist in my old age, but good luck with that.

It would be easier to save the planet and we can't even do that.

It would be easy if greed was just about the "bad" stuff. It's why we can't shift human consciousness, as if it's one giant thing. We're not too stupid either. If anything, we're too clever. There's no limit that we don't find a way around. Well, not no limit, but a lot of them.

Why climb the mountain? Because it's there.

The ability is there. Humans choose not to use it because corprats and greedy rich people are allowed to control everything and are worshipped. It's GREED, laziness and stupidity.

Humans can't save themselves.

They won't climb any mountain. They're too lazy.

9. Roads aren't a need

Roads are humans wanting more, at the cost of the trees that need to be cut down, or the other species that have to be removed, one way or another, from where we want the roads to go. Medicine isn't an objective need. What we call nature doesn't care if humans live longer, or healthier. Agriculture isn't a need. That's just a way that humans have come to grow more food than we eat.

Again, everything would be easy if it was just about the corprats and greedy rich people, if it was just about the "bad" stuff. We think of greed as bad in concept, but civilization is a resource concentration mechanism. Humans are the 1% of the planet. How did we get here? By being greedy. By wanting, and being able, to get more food. By wanting, and being able, to have more kids live. By wanting a better life. These are greedy things.
