VETPAW.ORG - Veterans Empowered to Protect African Wildlife (Anti-poaching)

I just heard of this group on John Fugelsang's show. U.S. military vets training wildlife rangers in Africa. I wasn't sure which DU topic group to post this in, but saw this had a couple of wildlife posts.

There's nothing more cowardly than poaching and the gross waste that it creates.

What's always perplexed me is how do the poachers get into the country where they are poaching? Are these internal people breaking the laws and smuggling the animal parts out?

I hope this approach changes something otherwise some species will be hunted to extinction for nothing.
