Ocean Cleanup Project System 001 now deployed in (not so) Great Pacific Garbage Patch

After a few weeks of testing closer to the California coast, it is now at its functional location in the patch. It will be interesting to see how it works at actually capturing plastic now it's out there.

It will still take a few weeks before real conclusions can be drawn, but some early observations:
+ very small pieces seem to get caught too
+ no interactions with marine life observed
- plastic occasionally leaves system again. Now analysing behavior data to understand why
