Visualizing The Global Transition to Green Energy

A fully green future could be closer than you think. With each passing year, the steadily declining price of renewable energy makes it increasingly competitive against fossil fuels.

Today’s infographic from Raconteur breaks down the material shift towards renewable energy, and where in the world it’s taking place. Time to go green. A recent United Nations report estimates that renewables must make up 70% to 85% of electricity by 2050 to combat the dire effects of climate change.

Executive Order NO. 80: North Carolina's Commitment to Address Climate Change and Transition to a Clean Energy Economy

I'm doing everything in my power to reduce my carbon footprint. It would be great to hear others are doing likewise.

Thanks for the post, NeoGreen.

..."renewable energy" as if these squandered sums are some kind of victory, they are merely joining blind Capitalists in showing complete disinterest in climate change.

This is unsurprising.

This money is being spent at a time when rates of increases in both atmospheric carbon dioxide and the use of dangerous fossil fuels are the highest ever observed.

No one now living will ever again see CO2 levels in the atmosphere again, and this continual cheering for failure is a good reason why that is so.
