1,300 file complaints against Tepco

FUKUSHIMA, Kyodo — Around 1,300 people, mainly from Fukushima Prefecture, filed a criminal complaint Monday against Tokyo Electric Power Co. Chairman Tsunehisa Katsumata and 32 others, arguing they were responsible for causing the nuclear disaster at the Fukushima No. 1 power plant and the plaintiffs' exposure to radiation.

In the complaint filed with the Fukushima District Public Prosecutor's Office, the accusers say the 33 people, including former Tepco President Masataka Shimizu and Nuclear Safety Commission chief Haruki Madarame, neglected to take disaster countermeasures despite the frequency of earthquakes in Japan and indications by experts of the possibility of tsunami...

... he'd be able to run home to be protected by the US government from
any criminal or civil charges, allowing him to live in total luxury and
completely ignore any attempts at obtaining justice - following the example
of Warren Anderson (who has continued to get away with [s]murder[/s]
evading punishment for the 3000-11000 homicide deaths that he was
responsible for 27+ years ago).

Katsumata et al haven't killed anyone (yet) but they are being brought
to book in just over a year.

Isn't it amazing how "exceptional" some people are?
