Two reports on arctic ice melt

The first is a detailed piece of journalism form the BBC about the research station at Ny-Alesund on Svalbard. It shows the extent to which the researchers go and discusses how a warmer arctic might be affecting the weather at the latitude of the British Isles.

The second is a far more detailed analysis of the decline of the sea ice and a discussion of how one denier has mis-stated the figures to claim that all is well. There is a wealth of historical data with which to counter Oil Industry friendly deniers

misleading and lying probably when their own research shows the effects of carbon emissions.
