NDakota (R) Senator Hoeven vows to "find another bill to attach Keystone" (Short Article)

Hoeven: Keystone backers will find way to approve pipeline

BISMARCK, N.D. — Republican U.S. Sen. John Hoeven says a failed attempt to override the president’s veto of the Keystone XL pipeline will not deter him from pushing to get the project approved.

The Senate voted 62-37 Wednesday to override President Barack Obama’s veto of the bill. Proponents needed a two-thirds majority.

Hoeven, the chief sponsor, says pipeline supporters didn’t win the battle Wednesday but will “win the war” because they will find another bill to which they can attach the pipeline project.

Democratic Sen. Heidi Heitkamp says the failure to override the veto is clear evidence that more work remains to gather additional support for the project. She says in the last session she successfully recruited 10 Democrats to support the bill and will continue to try and get more on board.

So will they quietly attach it to some bill? Maybe try to sneak it in at the final late hour?
This will never end.

it has become so obvious how corrupted many Politicians have become. There are two parallel Pipe Lines being built in North Dakota to take Bakken Crude to Montana and the other to meet Enbridge Line running through Minnesota and on to Chicago. For those who don't know whom owns Enbridge, surprise surprise, the infamous Koch Brothers. Gee,you think they might have a cash envelope for a couple of NoDak Senators?

The oligarchy is happy with the way that the system works so don't expect it
to change, just become more & more blatant with every passing year.

days James Hill and the robber Barron's. North Dakota had a great Senator by the name of Burdick a real people person. BTW,a old time Socialist, elected by the farmers and he delivered what he said he would. Believe Byron Dourgan was his aide.
