What do you do when the Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) has money to spend... Has to spend... Must spend on a project that will do more harm than good?

Write letters, make calls, plug your ears, rub jalapenos in your eyes...

This beautiful canyon, running with a watercourse that makes endangered species happy, is doomed under a proposed BOR project (http://www.usbr.gov/lc/phoenix/biology/azfish/odonnellcreek.html). Their proposed damming project is unnecessary and harmful!

Picture the following, but with backhoes, trackhoes, dynamite, concrete and excess fill-dirt dumped on rattlesnake dens and native wildflower communities. What you see here will be changed for the worse forever simply because they are required to spend the money allocated for this project, despite the obvious negative consequences:
