Yes. You will get a tax break but you need money upfront. I’d love to do some of these things. But a roof and AC/heating replacement will he needed in a few years. The roof at 17K and the AC/Heating at 6K. Still trying to figure out how I’m going to pay for these. Everything is so dang expensive.

In Florida, a lifetime roof is 25 years. My current roof is 17 years d and I’m trying to keep it to 20. My neighbors build home at the same time have replaced their roofs already. Many this past year. Between the beating sun and hurricanes, they don’t last long.
