Congress orders Trump admin to investigate Saudi crown prince's role in Khashoggi murder

By CONOR FINNEGAN Nov 21, 2018, 4:10 AM ET

President Donald Trump cast doubt Tuesday on whether the U.S. could ever know the extent of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's involvement in the murder of Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi. But now, Congress is demanding his administration provides an answer.

The top Republican and Democrat on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., and Sen. Bob Menendez, D-N.J., sent a letter to the White House Tuesday evening to officially trigger an investigation into whether the young crown prince ordered the plot.

The move sets up a showdown between Capitol Hill and the White House as members of both parties in Congress call on Trump to be tougher on Saudi Arabia.

"It is a delicate situation when we have a longtime ally that we've had for decades, but we have a crown prince that I believe ordered the killing of a journalist," Corker told ABC Chattanooga, Tennessee, affiliate WTVC.

after all, he was banned from Saudi Arabia for writings critical of Trump. Combined with Jared's espionage of giving US intel product to MBS to help him eliminate political rivals, Jared's need for Saudi/Qatari/Emirati money, and Trump's refusal to acknowledge what the CIA has told him about the murder, there is reason to believe Trump is hopelessly conflicted on this matter, and ANY possible source of that conflict should be examined -- by someone other then Trump, obviously.

What happened earlier when mercenaries (American hired?) rounded up his (the prince's) opposition for him to murder or send to prison, and using american intel against them given to them by jared and trump? Was this done for trump because of his being critical of him, and was the prince returning the favor? Remember jared met with the prince right before the roundup started.

These people not only brought down the World Trade Center buildings and killed 3000+ but they actively finance the lives of all of those hijackers....We don't need the Saudi's and the sooner we rid ourselves of them the better!
