Leaked document may implicate LKP leader Hwang Kyo Ahn in martial law plans

Hwang Kyo Ahn is the former prime minister in office during the Park Geun Hye impeachment process and associated pro-democracy candlelight demonstrations. He is the current leader of the right wing Liberty Korea Party. According to T.K. Park on his Ask A Korean twitter thread the South Korean public prosecutor's office withholding of the document reflects on its pro-conservative bias. This may lend further support for democratic and progressive parties' plans to reform the national prosecutors offices in an effort to limit their power.

T.K. has posted several tweets on this development at the link.

Hwang Kyo Ahn is the current leader of Liberty Korea Party opposition to the current democratic administration of Moon Jae-In and has been personally present at three massive Gwanghwamun demonstrations leading the rallies against government reform since October 3. Currently, the LKP party is resisting legal process for their disorderly obstruction of National Assembly business on April 25, 2019.

T.K.'s report is based on a Daum.net (South Korea) news item. It was also reported on JTBC news this morning and other South Korean media, including MBC radio. T.K. is a Korean-American lawyer and certified translator.
