(3,967 posts)pro-Israel and not so pro-Israel Jews are concerned. He says some nasty things about Israel (perhaps that would get some progressives to vote for him over Hillary LOL). And he says some quite nasty things about Jews. Actually, he says nasty things about a lot of people. Just no.
More conservative pro-Israel Jews and Israelis are also pretty concerned about Hillary because she has been quite critical of the Netanyahu government and of Israel, but there is no thought that she is motivated by anti-Semitism.
I will be curious to see if Bernie takes up this invitation and what he will say if he does.

(90,061 posts)Washington (CNN)Americans will see a preview of what could be the general election matchup when the Democratic and Republican front-runners make pitches to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee audience later this month.
Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are now scheduled to address the conference hosted by AIPAC, the leading pro-Israel lobby in Washington, from March 20 to March 22, the organization said Friday. AIPAC did not specify the dates on which the candidates will speak.
Trump and Clinton have rarely spoken to the same audiences so far in the campaign. But each candidate has tried to position themselves as a pro-Israel voice in their respective parties.
