You have reached your destination: Why Waze went with Google

BDS Fail Alert:

Google won, buying Waze for $1 billion in cash, with an additional $100 million in performance payouts in cash and Google stock for employees, company sources said. “Of course we’re all celebrating now,” said a Waze employee who spoke anonymously. “In many buyouts, the workers get either nothing, or shares in companies that they aren’t familiar with, and can’t really gauge the value of. But everyone knows Google, and knows that they are very lucky to have on opportunity to have a share in their success.”

Time for BDS holes to boycott Google.

its a nice way of supporting what you believe in, too bad the US will probably never label settlement products as such it could open a whole new market for them

I first heard about it a month ago, I downloaded it, and I use it.

If it were made in Japan, I'd have downloaded it.

you are the OP here and seem to be very glad that Google is picking up an Israeli product, I wondered if that extended across the board for you, no need to get defensive

Warrantless surveillance did not start under Obama but GWB in 2001. That RW tool Klayman isn't just suing Google et al, he is also suing the President, Holder and others. The suit is a complete joke (kinda like the birther suits) and is not going to go anywhere, for one thing Google and the rest were complying with federal court orders. Just like Bengazi and the IRS thing this is nothing but another attempt to hurt the current administration.

This is what a real lawsuit challenging the Patriot Act looks like:

18. BDS Fail Alert: ???

Those " BDS holes " as you call them shira seem to have some worried :

Martin Sherman - The Jerusalem Post - Under the title "My prediction: Please help prove it wrong", right wing commentator Martin Sherman describes in detail his nightmare scenario: The worldwide BDS movement would increase and a growing specter of international sanctions will loom over Israel. More mainstream forces within the Israeli society would not openly support BDS, but would point to the increasing international sanctions as a threat which must be avoided by withdrawing to the 1967 borders, and would vociferously condemn the settlers as being the cause of Israel`s predicament. The ultimate result, Sherman fears, would be "an Israeli withdrawal from Judea and Samaria".

Who, in the 1980s, would have believed that the rugged, hawkish Palmahnik Yitzhak Rabin would embrace and sanitize the arch–terrorist Arafat; who, in the 1990s, would have believed that former right-wing Likudniks like Ehud Olmert would offer to divide Jerusalem; who, in 2000, would have believed that the super-hawk Ariel Sharon would coercively evacuate Gaza, or that Netanyahu would embrace the idea of a Palestinian state.

Time and time again, Israeli leaders have buckled under pressure – perceived or genuine.

Time and time again, they have reneged on electoral pledges and embraced the dovish concessions they previously scorned.

There is little reason to believe – or even to hope – that they will not do so again – especially if confronted with the seeming choice of giving the welfare of a 95% majority precedence over the “ideological excesses” of a 4% minority.

19. You "post-zionists" keep contradicting yourself...

One day, you're not anti-zionist but the next you're spewing the same talking points.

One day, you're only for limited BDS, the next you're for full-on BDS which includes 1-state and full Right-of-Return.

Who are you today, Israeli?

You pretending to be a post- or anti- zionist?

Do you even know?
