In photos: Thousands in Paris march in solidarity with Gaza

Thousands of pro-Palestinian protesters marched through the streets of Paris on Wednesday, during an authorized but tightly-controlled demonstration in solidarity with the people of Gaza.

President of the "France Palestine Solidarité" Association Tawfiq Tahami, one of the march's principle organizers, said that 25,000 attended the march, while the police estimated the crowd's numbers at 14,000.

"Israel murderer, Hollande Resignation," "Long live Palestine, long live the resistance," "We are all Palestinians," "Gaza, we're with you," were some of the words chanted by the crowd.

Israel's assault on Gaza had killed more than 750 Palestinians as of Thursday afternoon, and injured more than 4,000. The vast majority of the casualties have been civilians.
