Palestinian Stabs 11 Passengers on Tel Aviv Bus

A Palestinian man stabbed 11 people on a bus in central Tel Aviv on Wednesday, seriously wounding three of them before he was chased down, shot and arrested by Israeli police in an attack praised by the Islamic militant Hamas group.

The assault, described by police as a "terror attack," was the latest in a spate of attacks in which Palestinians have used knives, acid and vehicles as weapons in recent months, leaving dead and injured. Police identified the assailant as a Palestinian from the West Bank and said he had entered Israel illegally.

The man, who was riding the bus with the other passengers, began stabbing people, including the driver, then managed to get out of the bus and run away from the scene.

Officers from a prison service, who happened to be nearby, saw the bus swerving out of control and a man running away. They gave chase, shot the man in the leg, wounding him lightly, and arrested him.

2. The Popular Resistance Committees also applauded the stabbing attack
Wed Jan 21, 2015, 09:56 AM
Jan 2015

Ahmad Bahr, deputy head of the Palestinian Legislative Council, also praised the attack, which he described as self-defense.

Bahr said in a statement that the "negotiations path" followed by the Palestinian Authority was a waste of time and a chance for Israel to "Judaize" what is left of Jerusalem and expand its settlements.

He called on the Palestinian leadership in Ramallah to abandon negotiations and return to resistance.

The Popular Resistance Committees also applauded the stabbing attack, which it described as a "natural reaction to all Israeli crimes against Palestinians, their lands and religious sites."

The PRC added in a statement that "resistance attacks will not stop."

The statement called for a complete intifada inside Israel and to support Palestinians in the Negev.

" Right now it's simply not recommended for Jews to travel to the West Bank. "

That is about the most idiotic statement I have ever heard on here .....who the hell do you think travels to and fro from the West Bank to Israel proper without restrictions .....????

Was it this you were referring to ? :

"American visitors to Israel are advised not to use public transport in Israel and the West Bank."

So all American visitors to Israel are Jewish ? .......

Many evangelicals, history students, scientists, professors from all categories. Nor did I suggest they're all Jews. But it's okay for me, I've already been to Bethlehem, Jericho and Hebron. And of course I was speaking about Americans. I don't know what made you think otherwise.

6. US issues travel warning to Israel.....

American embassy in Tel Aviv bars personnel from using public transport in Israel and West Bank, requires them to obtain permission to come near Lebanese, Syrian borders.

In the wake of the terror attack in Tel Aviv on Wednesday morning and rising tensions in northern Israel, the US Embassy issued a travel warning to its personnel, barring them from using public buses in Israel and the West Bank and from coming near Israel's borders with Lebanon and Syria.

"Because of concerns about security on Israel’s northern borders, US government personnel are currently required to obtain advance approval if they wish to travel within 1.5 miles (2.4 kilometers) of the Lebanon border, or travel on or east of Route 98 in the Golan Heights," a statement from the Embassy said.

American visitors to Israel are advised not to use public transport in Israel and the West Bank.

On Wednesday evening, the US condemned the stabbing attack in Tel Aviv. "We strongly condemn today's stabbings on a bus in Tel Aviv," said State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki. "There is and can be no justification for such attacks against innocent civilians."

She once again urged all sides to work cooperatively together to lower tensions, reject violence and seek a path toward peace.

The last time the United States issued a travel warning for Israel over security reasons was during Operation Protective Edge.

They may be safer in other countries but which other countries want Jews ?

Long time ago ships-full of Jews were turned away - hence the Jewish State.
