Netanyahu says US is part of new ‘axis’!

http://mondoweiss.net/2015/03/netanyahu-part-axis

The pressure is increasing on Obama over his foreign policy; and it’s time for supporters of peace to line up behind him. Today in his efforts to counter the Iran deal, Netanyahu called the US part of the “Axis,” a naked reference to Nazi Germany and its allies in World War 2. Jerusalem Post:

“After the Beirut-Damascus-Baghdad axis, Iran is carrying out a pincer movement from the south to take over and occupy the entire Middle East. The Iran-Lausanne-Yemen axis is very dangerous to humanity and it must be stopped,” he said.

Lausanne means the P5+1 who are trying to negotiate the deal. Netanyahu then tweeted so no one would miss the message:

» PM Netanyahu: The Iran-Lausanne-Yemen axis is very dangerous for humanity and needs to be stopped.

Has Bibi announced a majority coalition yet, what is taking so long? Is he having some problems with one of the required opposition parties not signing on board?

Netanyahu says US part of an “axis” that is a “danger to humanity.” Where is the outrage @AIPAC @ADL_National @AJCGlobal?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Axis_of_evil

The term 'axis' was used as a collective term during World War II (WWII) to identify Nazi Germany and its key allies, Japan and Italy. U.S. President George W. Bush used the term Axis of evil in his State of the Union Address on January 29, 2002, and often repeated it throughout his presidency, to describe governments that he accused of helping terrorism and seeking weapons of mass destruction. Iran, Iraq, and North Korea were portrayed by George W. Bush during the State of the Union as building nuclear weapons. The Axis of Evil was used to pinpoint these common enemies of the United States and rally the country in support of the War on Terror.

I don't easily suffer the willfully ignorant.

There is not enough evidence that the quote actually refers to the US, and that it’s a nazi reference. I feel that there is a stretching of the interpretation of the quote.

Bibi has said some ambiguous things in the past. This is just another case of Bibi being ambiguous, I think.

It's like all his dreams are coming true.

I hope whoever thinks they might be a fan of Mondoweiss reads this article closely to understand where Philip and his acolytes are coming from.

He translates this: "The Iran-Lausanne-Yemen axis is very dangerous for humanity and needs to be stopped" as "Netanyahu says US is part of new ‘axis’!" and throws in "a naked reference to Nazi Germany and its allies in World War 2"

that goes nicely with his rhetoric at the last election about being the victim of a conspiracy by Western governments. I don't think that there is any real alternative to "Lausanne" being a reference to the P5+1.

Personally, I'm waiting for a "stabbed in the back" reference. I think we might get that when the Iran deal is finally inked.

understand an argument criticizing Netanyahu for trying to sabotage the Iran negotiations, and interjecting himself into the U.S. political system, but to attribute a quote that "Netanyahu says US is part of new 'axis'", is NOT accurate.

If that was actually said, even our MSM would jump on that in a New York minute, and until that happens, I question its validity

Perhaps Bibi is not as clever as he seems and is not using words he composed and tweeted correctly. Maybe he was drunk, who knows?

I take Netanyahu at his word, the question is: which word is it?
