I wonder if we could bring back the founding fathers who wrote the "Bill of Rights", what they

would say about the 2nd Amendment on ... "GUNS"? i wonder if those writers would alter and abolish
"Amendment 2" on the right to bear arms...if they knew what it was to ultimately bring about?....I wonder if
...they took a look at the news today about shootings and killings.. what would they do or say about
it?..That the ..."Right To Bear Arms" results in hundreds if not thousands of deaths in a year....Sandy Hook,
Tower Shooting, Kennedy's Assignation, and so on and so on etc. Also, what would they say about the medias
involvement in promoting and reporting these events?...I guess this is a double or triple question...One more
thought....Remember these were some of the brightest people around....How would they look at the problem
now, and what would they do if they could take the 2nd Amendment out of the Constitution? Or change the
2nd Amendment in some way...

........I haven't got a clue, says Stu.....:

2. Given their stated concern for general welfare of citizens, I think they'd have something to say.

And I think we'd like it.

4. I highly doubt that they would change a thing.

The majority of them were slave owners, and the second amendment was intended to assure that the southern states could put down slave revolts and arm fugitive slave posses. It's inclusion was required to get southern states onboard.

5. For anyone not in the paradigm, accepting the paradigm would be ...

Anyone not already born and raised in this paradigm and coming to objectively know (from outside without preconceptions) the paradigm, if accepting the paradigm would needs be a socio-pycho-path.

It is immoral that we, USa, the paradigm seem to have no number, no limit, no end of tolerance, of accepting kids bleeding out in the streets of America.

6. The founders always assumed that the constitution would change as society changed

This is certain as the constitution outlines how it can change. They could never have imagined that our country would grow to its size nor could they imagine the population growth. Because population was far smaller, cultural differences between the states was not nearly as dynamic as today.

The founders would probably remove more than gun rights.
Their sensibilities were informed by the culture of their time.
Freedom of speech as we know it today would certainly not exist. No.friggen way. What would George and Thomas think of onlyfans? Come on now.

(I am sex positive and support sex workers so long as they have agency over their choices and career.)
