Do you think that Donald Trump will be indicted?..And tried, & convicted? Of course , your opinion?

I think DONNIE BOY ...WILL BE TRIED AND CONVICTED.for some crimes, but no jail time.....

I will admit that my crystal ball is a bit fuzzy on this one. Actually I don't have a clue, says Stu

I fear that it will be dismissed in the interest of the country or some bullshit.
I don’t think we learned any lessons for 1930s Germany

God, I hope I am wrong!

white male ex-potus. I would be totally thrilled to see this ex-potus perp-walked in handcuffs. Yet, given my prior description of the subject of the OPO, no I probably won't see it. I'll settle for him being politically shamed, broken completely financially and his BFF Pukin offering him a lonely dacha on a deserted spot on the Black Sea. And his children, in-laws and cronies. A completely broken man. as second best to jail time.

Confinement to Mer-de-Lagoe due to illness and declining health, which we won't know about for decades. Will watch movies of himself 24/7. They say Howard Hughes watched movies most of the time in the latter stage of his life. The money, the elite status, the narcissism ... it goes to the head. Look at me ... I have none of that and my head is empty. See? Point proven.

or get a plea in the civil case.

Criminally, my hope relies on Fani Willis in Georgia. The problem with her case was proving Trump's criminal intent and enough evidence has surfaced to make that case.

We do not know if Merrick Garland is OK with indicting a former president, and yes I know what he said, but he left enough wiggle room for a bail out.

Trump, in a woman's dress, chased by a well armed Ron DeSantis, fleeing across Mexican border on Rudy Giuliani's back. Can't see anything about indictment, trial or conviction.

I guess your crystal ball is far superior to mine.

that he wrote himself a self-pardoning document in his last days in office that he'll pull out if/when the time comes.

Then will come the debate on whether such a thing is legal/valid. Delay, delay, delay.

I can only go on this; my Dad worked at White and Case Law Firm in NYC.
He personally did some work for TFG and personally fired Rudy Giuliani from the firm.

He told me, he believes TFG will never prosecuted for anything, he's too well connected and it would bring down and expose too many people.

convicted. Her testimony was shattering and very important. If Trump cannot prove that Hutchinson was/is
lying (and he can't) then Trump is dead meat forever..
....Yes, Donald Trump will have to prove Hutchinson is lying..

So....I watched it, and here is the crux of the matter:

Who are you going to believe?........Hutchinson..who appears in every way to tell the truth...

.................................................Or...Donald Trump who is a known liar who lies about everything!.

I know who I believe, and do you know who you believe?

but I don't know about being convicted. In a just world, I think he would be, without a doubt. But one thing bothers me above all else: the ketchup episode.

My mother is in a home for those who have mental and emotional challenges, but don't have Alzheimer's. Basically, she has dementia with a horrible narcissistic mean streak. The throwing lunch against the wall episode and ripping tablecloths off tables would be right up her alley for behavior. She has struck her caregivers (including me before we found a nursing home for her). All these actions *rump did would be her normal behavior right now.

I could see a court saying that *rump is not guilty by reason of dementia and sentencing him to a nursing home for those with dementia... not to jail. Of course, that embarrassment -would- drive *rump insane. But it would be of little comfort to those of us who have seen him commit the crimes he committed over the course of 4 years, and all the people he's responsible for killing through the pandemic and otherwise, and all those families left grieving for those they've lost and all the children lost in the ICE system (which I'm still not certain isn't hooked up with human trafficking).
