Montgomery Clift Remembered in New Video

Montgomery Clift's torment over his sexual orientation helped make him more mysterious to movie audiences, says his biographer Patricia Bosworth in a new video that helps mark 46 years since the death of the great screen star.

Bosworth recalls meeting Clift as a child. "He was absolutely gorgeous," she says, of the actor who costarred in numerous classic films such as A Place in the Sun and Suddenly, Last Summer. "I sat and listened to Montgomery Clift talk and I was so overwhelmed by him."

Patricia's was pretty good...the second was by a gay man and it was amazingly homophobic.

Monty was grogeous and tortured...he should have had a much longer life.
