I know the owners have some pretty medieveal views on LGBT issues. But, how do they treat their customers and employees? Has anyone heard and stories about discrimination against customers or in their hiring?

Where do the franchise fees end up?

Same goes for any religious organization. You may have Church's welcome you with open arms, but where does part of their tithing go?

mind you I am not excusing their corporate practice of contributing to anti gay hate groups. For me that is sufficient reason for not patronizing them. But at the same time, how their beliefs and practices affect their employees and customers also matters.

Mike Huckabee, former governor and current irrelevent douchebag, is trying to make Aug 1 "Chick-fil-A appreciation day"

He called the Cathy clan “a wonderful Christian family who are committed to operating the company with Biblical principles and whose story is the true American success story” – one “that is being smeared by vicious hate speech and intolerant bigotry from the left.”

Huckabee declared Aug. 1 “Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day.”

I started to do a poll on these two events in GD but with many of the responses I have seen in GD lately about Chick-fil-A, I don't want my blood pressure rising more than it already is.
