I don't always agree with Booker, but he's got a hard job in a city and State I care about and I he is frequently impressive in his actual work.

either term? I've mostly heard "partner" which is gender neutral and two moms and two dads. Does it refer to a legal standing...marriage laws of a state?

And, bravo to Mayor Booker...starting to draw some lines in the proverbial sand.

As for legal documents, Spouse 1 and Spouse 2 is the best way to create a non-gendered legal document.
