It's not them being discriminated in the workplace, and they can't feel what discrimination is really like, so they can't understand why someone would be asking the wife of a President to ask her husband to help secure the right to safe employment or to be able to get married, etc. LIKE RIGHT FUCKING NOW.

(26,371 posts)Sadly, the only consistent community standard around here is that unpopular members (and members with unpopular opinions, pretty much the same thing) may be stalked, bullied, and otherwise harassed with impunity.

(26,371 posts)the idea that anything three random people happen to approve of is OK has made this place about as smart and civil as a Youtube comments thread.
I'd rather see some basic civility rules that juries are expected to enforce, simple things like "don't attack people." That might make things a little less arbitrary.
