I couldn't think of her name but I knew she was missing. She had an Amelie avatar and a truly great sense of humor.

We had a lot of back-and-forth during Hillary/Obama; including some really hilarious exchanges, which was pretty rare at the time...she was swell.

I had never really been exposed to a transgender person up until I joined DU. I learned a lot from her.

She could touch you personally. And when you see how accomplished she was it just adds up to a terrible human loss.
