Now here's some brave Christians I'd be glad to break bread with! Jesus would certainly approve.

Here are 20 Methodist churches with in-your-face messages for the denominational demons... uh, I mean General Conference Curmudgeons... er, I mean bigots... well,
Enjoy:

4. When I was younger I grew up in the Lutheran and Episcopal church and attended a Methodist church.

My god mother is an Episcopal pastor and my sister in law is a Lutheran pastor. Even in my pretty red county these particular churches are very open to EVERYBODY. I have yet to be in a Methodist, Lutheran, or Episcopal church that does not value all human life. I know there are ones that do not but I have not had the misfortune to be in one.

6. Just want to clarify that your sister in law must be an ELCA pastor.

I grew up Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, which would not be so welcoming. And then there's the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod, which thinks the LCMS is too liberal.

5. As of today, there are 981 "reconciling communities" in the UMC.

Resistance to the recent St. Louis decisions is growing steadily. Thanks for posting some bold examples.

7. Imaginary Jesus would approve I'm sure.

What makes you think a Jew who lived 2000 years ago would approve?

Because he's really really god or something?
