We're Not There Yet

International Women's Day

Dear Friend,

Today, on International Women's Day, there's a lot we can be proud of when it comes to advancing rights and opportunities for women and girls everywhere. But the truth is, we still have so much more to do. Take the fact that women around the world still don't have equal pay, or that nine countries around the world don't provide for paid maternity leave.

When you look at the facts, you have to ask yourself: Where do we really stand when it comes to gender equality?

The answer is: We're just not there yet.

In a symbolic act, the Clinton Foundation, and a multitude of partners are temporarily removing women from images we see every day to show that we're not there yet on gender equality. I'm taking a stand with them and you can too.

Take a stand with us. Visit http://notthere.noceilings.org/?utm_source=20150308womensday&utm_medium=email&utm_term=returning&utm_content=20150308&utm_campaign=NoCeilings to get the facts and learn how you can help.
