Emeline, Christabel and Sylvia Pankhurst, plus Annie Kenney.
I was a kid when I saw it, and it has a profound impact on me. I has no idea until then how women had to fight for the right to vote, and it opened my eyes on how women were second class citizens
Thank you for posting this. It gave me chills to listen to that song again.

on youtube.
did you ever see "iron-jawed angels"? hbo movie on the american suffrage movement.
