Breakfast is a recent invention. People used to roll out of bed and get right to work, the main meal being at eleven or so. If you rolled out of bed starving, you cut a slice of cold porridge and ate it while you walked to the barn or fields.

Cold pizza is really a great breakfast, it's got everything. Best part: you don't really have to cook it.
