Gobsmacked.

I just returned from a consult with a general surgeon in the HealthFirst network in Florida.
I recently had surgeries and a hernia popped up, literally, in my belly. Since I have eye issues to address before this, I deemed it only a consult as I've been told it's elective.

Anyway, the surgeon was a talker. Towards the end of my appointment I asked and he informed me he is NOT vaccinated. Blames it on a number of things, 1) he's already had covid (only a minor headache ), 2) the powers that be did not handle the roll-out right, 3) it's become too politicized, and 4) no one knows what's going to happen with these unapproved vaccines. I did mention the 550K dead people vs. the millions who are now alive because of the vaccines, but he blew that off.

Well, when I get around to it, I think I'll blow him off and will be in the market for another surgeon. He's entitled to his opinion, but I don't agree with it.

left for people who get COVID now because they refuse to get vaccinated. She was adamant about it too. She's got no stomach for people making this worse for everyone. She knows my politics and knows I'm safe to talk to about this.

Yep, shop for a new surgeon!

be prosecuted, but anyone that blew COVID off, refused to take precaution and infected others, should be treated as if they understood everything fully well and did it intentionally.

He didn't like how the vaccines were rolled out? Already had it and only a minor headache? Doesn't sound believable to me

Also he thinks vaccines are too politicized? That sentence in itself is politicized. Hard to believe all of that came from a medical professional. He sounds like a straight up trumper.
