Related: About this forumWhere does one get reasonably priced supplemental vitamins. My dr. has me on a course of
treatment wherein larger doses of vitamins are required. I generally go to CVS which has a good selection, but are there more reasonably priced sources?

(24,324 posts)I don't know what your present diet and medical condition are, but if you eat meat, you may want to consider going on a diet eating no meat or dairy--that is-- vegan.
If you read a book entitled 'The China Study' you may come to realize that by eating fresh fruit and vegetables you probably will not need vitamins, with the possible exception of B1 and D, depending on how much time you spend outside in the sun.

(24,324 posts)There are very few doctors who would even consider the possibility of suggesting eliminating meat from our diet.
Because if they did, people would stop getting so many diseases and would even recover from much of what ails them...especially certain cancers, Type I diabetes, osteoporosis, heart disease, etc.
Which would greatly lower doctors' income.
I wish you the best of luck, whatever route you take.

(1,164 posts)They almost always have the cheapest prices (and, believe me, that's a big factor for us!), they have a huge selection, and they're very, very reliable (orders placed by 1 p.m. -- and sometimes later -- are guaranteed to go out that day).

(3,128 posts)I have used all three, I always check Amazon first. Often they have the best prices and as a prime member, shipping is free. With a $25 purchase of items from Amazon, I believe, you can also get free shipping.
