Just watched Iron Lady.

And it is exactly what I thought it would be.
Worth watching for Streep's superb actiing skills, which were aided by marvelous makeup effects.
But very little really about Thatcher herself that is not known via headlines of the time.
She does not come off well at all.
jim Broadbent is great, as always.
Sub-titles would have been helpful, sound is murky at times.

and learned a lot more about her than I had previously known.

And, I agree, Meryl Streep's performance was brilliant.
